The New Lucas Museum of Narrative Art

We found out this week that Giroux Glass will soon be a part of an exciting addition to the Los Angeles cultural scene: the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.  Right in the back yard of our downtown headquarters location, the new museum will be at Exposition Park, at the University of Southern California.   Founded by philanthropist and filmmaker George Lucas and his wife, business woman, Mellody Hobson, the new museum will exhibit a permanent collection and rotate paintings, photography, illustration, cinematic art and digital art from Lucas’s personal collection, and will also include a Star Wars exhibit. Educational programming will provide interesting [...]

Giroux Installs New Skylight on Historic Elrod House

Located in a private and secluded residential area at the top of a hill, the Elrod House has been home to many notable occupants through the years. A Site Visit to Viracon

As a great way to connect with Giroux Glass’ Western Region sales team and discuss all of the new product offerings, as well as learn even more about Viracon’s insulating, laminated and monolithic architectural glass products, we arranged a tour of their facility. Farewell to PM, Bruce Johnson

We had a party in our Los Angeles office yesterday to honor and celebrate our partner and project manager, Bruce Johnson, who recently announced his retirement. Bruce worked out of the Los Angeles office for most of his time with Giroux, and recently relocated to our San Bernardino location to reduce his commute drive time.  (So some of us here in Los Angeles had to ease into missing him over the past year.) We all will be forever grateful for Bruce’s colorful personality, and his commitment to our [...]
