Giroux Glass Brings Home Top Awards at ASA Gala Event

The American Subcontractors Association (ASA) hosted its twentieth annual Construction Industry Awards Gala last night. Held at the Westridge Golf Club in La Habra, CA, it was an evening devoted to acknowledging the companies and individuals in Southern California who have made a difference in the construction industry over the past year.

Giroux Glass was a finalist in the category of Subcontractor of the Year, and our chief estimator, Rob Carter, was among the finalists for Subcontractor Estimator of the Year. Winners were selected by voting, and we are proud to announce that we were awarded the top accolade in both categories. We were honored to be considered among the other impressive companies on the lists of finalists in both award categories.

“I’m honored to know that we are valued by our peers and recognized as Subcontractor of the Year by ASA.  We strive for excellence by living our core values and are humbled by the acknowledgement and show of support by our industry leaders, expressed Nataline Lomedico, Giroux Glass CEO and president. “Many thanks are extended to our peers, clients and vendors; it’s really a tremendous honor.””

Representatives attended from many general contracting companies, including Hathaway-Dinwiddie; Hensel Phelps; PCL; Swinerton, and more.

“This was an exciting time. I’m so proud that Rob is held in such high esteem by our industry partners,” said Bob Linford about Rob, who has been a valued employee and estimator for Giroux Glass since 2008. “Rob exemplifies the high quality of standard of estimating that we value at Giroux. I’m proud that he was recognized for his hard work and dedication to our clients,” Nataline expounded. Ilse Baeck added, “It was a lovely evening;  I am so glad I was able to attend this night of being honored in such a heart-warming manner.”
