Michelle Fainberg reflects on 25 years with Giroux Glass

CAD Manager Michelle Fainberg has played a major role in developing the technological and architectural abilities of Giroux Glass. Her journey with Giroux began in 1996, when she was hired as an intern from the USC School of Architecture. After graduating, Michelle joined the team full-time, and led the transition from hand-drawn drafting to computer-aided design (CAD).

In the 25+ years since, her responsibilities have grown exponentially. She now not only manages a full team of CAD designers, but also leads various companywide IT initiatives, including software updates, training sessions, and repairs. She has also been instrumental in developing Giroux Glass’ design-assist capabilities, which have helped us secure a number of highly competitive bids.

In this video, Michelle recounts her history with Giroux Glass, and looks back on some of her proudest achievements designing and planning the highly technical and accurate installations for which our team is known.
