Grand Opening of Fresno Location

It would appear that everyone who attended the Grand Opening Celebration of our new office in Fresno, California, had a good time . . . and hopefully learned some helpful information while there. The rainy skies didn’t scare off the friends, architects, general contractors, and suppliers who came to check out our new space and to learn more about what this location of Giroux Glass has been up to lately in Central California.

Attendees included folks representing GL Bruno, California Panel SystemsHarris ConstructionDSJ Architects, Marko Construction Group, Vetrotech Saint-Gobain, D.M. Figley, and View Glass, among others. Everyone enjoyed chatting with each of you! Thank you to all who attended, and if you missed it, please pop in next time you’re in the area!

Alan Tousley of View Glass explained the impressive technology behind the electrochromic glass windows that have been installed at the Giroux Glass Fresno location. A total of five lites have been programmed to automatically become shaded when sun hits them, or to become completely opaque at night, providing privacy as well as energy efficiency, and negating the need for shades or blinds of any kind.

Highlights of the new office include the sliding opaque glass barn door, with hardware by C.R. Laurence, which shows off the company logo, as well as another section of glass divider that proudly lists our Giroux Glass core values. Colorful canvas prints of recent projects decorate the new office walls; projects that include the Madera Courthouse, the Clovis Hospital, the Phillip J. Patino School of Entrepreneurship, Fresno High School, City of Hope Hospital, Antelope Valley, and others.

Shown, below, is the Fresno team, from left to right: Giroux Glass, Fresno Operations: John Smith, Bob Linford, Anna Ryor, Gary Levi, and Kim Sok. Other than Director Bob Linford, who heads the Giroux Glass Commercial Department from his Los Angeles office, everyone here works out of the new Fresno location. We look forward to many more fantastic projects to be completed by this team in the years to come.
