This prestigious recognition was announced during the seventeenth annual program and survey conducted by the Los Angeles Business Journal and Workforce Research Group. The program aims to identify, acknowledge, and honor the top employers in Los Angeles, benefiting the county’s economy, workforce, and businesses.
Out of the numerous companies evaluated, Giroux Glass, Inc. secured the 17th spot in the large business category of Best Places to Work in Los Angeles. To qualify for consideration, companies had to meet specific eligibility criteria. Giroux Glass, being 100% ESOP (employee-owned), has its headquarters located in Downtown Los Angeles and a minimum of 15 employees in the city. Additionally, the company’s 77-year history of operation showcased its commitment and longevity in the industry.

The evaluation process for the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles award comprised two parts. The first part involved assessing each nominated company’s benefits, policies, practices, and demographics, which accounted for approximately 20% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey, which measured the employee experience and made up around 80% of the total evaluation. Workforce Research Group oversaw the registration, survey, and analysis phases to determine the final rankings.
