As we celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., may we reflect on his life, his work and his dedication to establish true racial equality. Although he was only 39 when his life was taken, he was internationally known and forever left his imprint on our world.

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” ~Martin Luther King Jr.

While our world is filled with social unrest, we have the ability to stand strong and move forward toward positive change by continuing to embrace a culture of inclusivity. I am extremely proud that Giroux appreciates and continues to invest in building a diverse and dynamic workplace. By collaborating with and learning from each other, we have created a wonderful work environment, and our company has grown more successful as a result. As our nation struggles to move forward towards greater equality, may we lead by example to others around us and continue to invest in and grow our diversity.

The work and legacy of Dr. King reminds us to reject illusions of separateness, to stay vigilant, and to act in accordance with our own dreams of a better, brighter, more compassionate future. As we face the days, weeks, and years ahead of us, I encourage us all to stand for doing right. We owe that to ourselves, to each other, and to the generation that will grow our efforts and continue our story.
