[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Whenever we have the privilege of working on a landmark Los Angeles structure, we’re pretty stoked to be a part of it. One of our Service department’s most recent landmark projects just took place at the LA Memorial Coliseum in Downtown LA.
We switched out all of the existing ¼” plexiglass panels in the USC press boxes and in the media room with glass—22 panels in all. After our glazing team removed the plexiglass, Jeremy Kerr, Rigo Gutierrez, Leo Aceves, Ruben Ochoa, and Richie Ochoa then worked together to install 22 new ¼” clear laminated glass panels (from PRL Glass) in their place.
We had 4 days to complete the project, but our team finished the job in 3, without one hiccup! I want to thank our crew for their great work, and for accomplishing this project in a timely manner. Thanks also to my colleagues in the Service department, Moises Orozco and Cesar Barragan, for their support.
When you’re in the kind of industry that we are, instead of looking through the glass at let’s say an LA Kings game or an LA Rams game, we’re definitely looking at it, inspecting it. The glass upgrades at the Coliseum were a good choice, and will provide spectators with a clearer view and more high-end feel at their next event. I’m proud to have played a part in it!
