Fogo De Chao Project

Our Service team tackles some of the most diverse (and delicious-smelling) projects of any of our Giroux Glass installation and fabrication teams.

One of our latest projects took us to Fogo De Chao Brazilian Steakhouse in San Jose, CA, where our team of Union glaziers (Ruben Hernandez, Dominique Castillo, and Steven Perez) were on-site for a full work week to install glass and channel at the restaurant. We installed a dark bronze anodized base shoe into the customer’s prepped opening, as well as vertical channel and ½-inch clear tempered glass.

Even with the most straightforward, simple installation, some of the most challenging elements of a job can be the timing of materials delivery and labor. In this case, everyone from our field crew to our accounting team was flexible with splitting up labor until framing arrived and glass could finally be installed. As far as scheduling goes, we’re well accustomed to doing what it takes to satisfy our customers in the most timely and least obstructive manner possible.

Thanks to Craig at National Glazing Solutions; our Giroux Glass CAD technicians, Michelle Fainberg and Humberto Martinez; and the great attitudes of our field crew, for they were all crucial to getting this project completed and looking beautiful.

Jim Sharp was the estimator and project manager on this project, and is a member of the Giroux Glass’ Service Department.
