We are thrilled to be part of a fantastic new commercial development in Las Vegas – one that is literally a stone’s throw from our Giroux Glass office and shop space. The project is Sansone Rainbow & Interstate 215, aptly named due to its location off Rainbow Road and the beltway, smack at the center of Southwest Las Vegas between Summerlin and Henderson. The complex is a planned Class “A” energy-efficient professional office project developed by Sansone Companies.
Construction has begun on the first phase: the Rainbow Road building and the four-level parking structure. The property will eventually consist of two identical 80,000 square-foot, four-story buildings, conjoined by the parking garage.
The unique new corporate center, named “AXIOM,” features modern all-glass and steel façades, which highlight curves of glass, rounded corners and a striking diagonal “swoosh.” Local Henderson, NV architects Yihong Liu + Associates designed the project.
We were honored to be awarded the project’s first phase glazing contract by local general contractors Charger Construction. Our scope includes:
- Unitized curtain wall
- Stick-built curtain wall
- Glass railings
- Glass awnings
- Interior mirrors
Phase 1 will be complete by Spring, 2021, and we hope to continue to provide glazing for the project’s second phase. The complex is scheduled for completion by Fall, 2022. We will keep you updated on the project once our work is in progress.
