Our Las Vegas Shop Gets a Grip with Grabo

The Giroux Glass shop crew is always busy receiving, moving, and loading heavy lites of glass for upcoming projects. It’s a job that requires a lot of physical strength and care, especially considering the fragile nature of the material in question. Fortunately, the construction industry has created tools for the job, like the Grabo Pro-Lifter 20, that make this task a bit easier on our hardworking team.

Grabo — manufacturers of heavy material lifting tools — recently filmed Giroux Glass’ Las Vegas shop crew using their new product, the Grabo Pro-Lifter 20. This unique suction handle attaches to glass to provide an easy grip for our glaziers, allowing them to securely and comfortably transport large pieces throughout the shop and onto trucks. The suction functions automatically and features a smart sensor that detects when the handle is fastened to the glass enough to stay attached, but not so much as to break it.

Our team has been deeply satisfied with the performance of their Grabo Pro Lifter 20 handles and uses them regularly in our daily work. We’re grateful to the Grabo team for contacting us to demonstrate this great product, and will continue to work with the tools, whether the cameras are rolling or not.

Check out the footage on this page to see our team, and the Grabo Pro Lifter 20 in action. We’ve also included interviews with two of our shop glaziers — Derek and Robert — who speak on the features and benefits of this machine, and the job it helps them get done.
