Ulta Distribution Center

Fresno, California

In 2016, Giroux Glass was contracted by general contractors, Clayco, to undertake a new construction project for Ulta, a retail store chain.

Clayco erected a colossal e-commerce center in Fresno, California, encompassing a vast expanse of 670,500 square feet. The structure was composed of continuous footing, concrete slab-on-grade, tilt-up concrete wall panels, conventional steel framing, a metal roof deck, a mechanically-fastened thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) room system, and a full coverage Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) fire-protection system.

Clayco collaborated with HPA Architecture, an Oakland-based architect, to ensure that prospective tenants were provided with ample space. The facility features mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as a surface parking lot with a capacity of 500 cars.

Our glazing work on this project involved installing the storefront system, stick-built curtain wall, and doors.
